Curtivet Lotion for pads

The pads are made up of a thick layer of skin and fat deposits, which protect from abrasions, cushion the impact received by the joints and prevent blows and bone damage.

Although they are resistant areas, against certain very demanding conditions, they can dry, crack or even bleed.

Therefore, it is necessary to care for and protect the pads to avoid injury.

CurtiVet is a plantar lotion especially indicated for very active dogs, subjected to intense exercise or who walk on demanding terrain or abrasive surfaces, such as asphalt or snow.

It is also indicated for dogs with sensitive or damaged pads.

The new formulation incorporates Urea and MSM, two key keratolytic agents for skin maintenance.

It is comfortable and practical to use: easy spray application, does not stain and dries quickly.

Composition:

Glycerin: 40%, Urea: 5%, Dimethyl sulfone (MSM): 3%,
Centella asiatica Extract: 3%, Aloe barbadensis Extract (Aloe vera): 0.3%, Thymus vulgaris Extract (Thyme): 0.3%, preservatives and excipients.

How to use:

• Spray the pads a few inches away.
• As a preventive, apply every 2 days for three weeks before the peak season.
• During the season, use every three days.
• On irritated pads, apply once a day for two weeks.
• Glycerin is a moisturizing agent that maintains moisture in the skin and prevents the appearance of cracks.
• Urea has keratolytic, hydrating and exfoliating activity, which helps keep the cell layers of the pads in balance, providing flexibility and
• resistance.
• MSM is a source of bioavailable sulfur, essential for the maintenance of connective tissue, with keratolytic and healing properties.

CurtiVet contains extracts from 3 plants:

• Centella asiatica is rich in Asiaticoside, a compound that aids in tissue tissue repair and healing.
• Due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic activity, Aloe vera promotes the regeneration of injured skin.
• With high hydration capacity of the skin layers.
• Thyme extract has known antibacterial activity, thus offering protection against infections.

Thanks to this formulation, CurtiVet hardens keratin, increases rub resistance, and helps repair injuries to the foot pads.
